Hello!
Hope you’re having a great weekend so far. We spent the day at the pool…all 6 of us in the water. It was fun and now I think everyone is beat from all that sun. But I have plans tonight, for once requiring a babysitter! My sister is coming over soon and will be making pizzas with the kids for dinner (she doesn’t know that part yet). I’m going to make this quick because I’ve gotta go get dressed up! I know exactly what I want to share with you though and have some great inspiration to tell you about.
Last night I finally made it to Barnes and Nobles to stock up on a few publications that have been on my wishlist. My fellow jewelry designers/friends are in these issues so I couldn’t wait to see their pieces in print.

Great inspiration on the shelves now
And speaking of inspiration, here are a few upcoming publications and classes to really get you jump started! While visiting Heather Bullard’s beautiful blog recently, I saw a brand new magazine will be coming out in 2010…She will be contributing to Flea Market Style, a magazine I think will appeal to many of you too.
And have you ever visited Tara Frey’s blog, typing out loud? She is the author of a new book to be released soon, Blogging for Bliss: Crafting Your Own Online Journal: A Guide for Crafter’s, Artists & Creatives of all Types. This is another one many of us will enjoy reading.
And Susan Tuttle, author of Exhibition 36, has a very interesting online workshop right around the corner. Susan’s 4-week workshop, Visual Poetry Online, will focus on photo manipulation. Have you ever seen her beautiful, vintage-grungy style pictures? She will show us how to achieve that style using Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Please stop by her blog for all of the details…I know I can’t wait to sign up next month!
That’s about it…now I need to run. I’ve got to get these curlers out of my hair (what a vision, right?) and some make up on. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
