Week 33 is here and the Focus on Life -52 Week photo challenge is all about what is In Season.
“What’s in Season where you live?
Fruits, vegetables, a certain kind of flower?
Or is it bathing suits and beach umbrellas? Scarves or mittens?
This week, do some investigating and search for what is in season where you live!”
What’s in season around here? Peaches! I attended a couple of good ole fashioned peach festivals recently. The small-town ambiance in Berlin, Md is irresistible, and we were happy to attend their 5th annual festival.

Summertime on the Eastern Shore means sunshine and the beaches are in season! I haven’t posted a single picture from the ocean all summer so I’ll have to remedy that right now. This is, afterall, my favorite season of the year! Here are some pictures from Assateague Island – home of one of our favorite beaches.
Can you tell I love summertime? 😉
And one more reason to love the being around the water – the spectacular sunsets.

Thank you for stopping by!

I live in view of the ocean, Cindy, yet I never tire of seeing everyone else’s beaches. 🙂 Here in northern New Brunswick the season is SO short for hangin’ out at the shore. I definitely take my ocean front for granted!
Your wonderful photos always bring back happy memories for me… how quickly our our little men turned into big men!
We only get to enjoy Ontario peaches here, and while they are tasty, I can’t help but wonder how much fun it must be, to dig in to all those fresh baked goodies at a Peach Festival. Yum!
You and I are complete opposites – I love the Winter! But, I did spend a week at the Outer Banks this year with family. Before my father passed away 8 years ago, the family would congregate at Sanibal Island, Florida – sea shell capitol I swear! Your collection of shells brought back those memories (thank you!)
BTW: my mouth began to water seeing the pics of those goodies made with fresh peaches – a Peach Whoopie Pie- that sounds awesome!
how fun! so fun to go beach combing …. love doing that with my girls. and peaches! aren’t they just the best this time of year? we had some last week that were amazing!
Looks like you and your family are having a great summer! I love visiting small towns with charm and the buckets of shells-that is how I would spend most of my days! Enjoy the rest of summer (can’t believe it is almost over)!
Gorgeous photos! My mouth is watering from seeing those juicy peaches! And added your link to your favorite beach to my long list of places I want to see.
Beautiful family! Reading your blog always puts a smile on my face 🙂
So wonderful to see you looking so happy and enjoying your summer…Thank you for sharing your beach adventures and the photos…I never tire of the sea!
