Better late to the party than not at all! I’m talking “i heart macro” Sundays with Lori of Studio Waterstone. Visit her blog if you haven’t already done so and you’ll see so many examples of amazing photography!
My pictures today are from my 6 year old’s Cub Scout end-of-the-year party. With summer vacation just around the corner (thank goodness), I decorated a cake in the ultimate summer theme – the sea! I had some fun with rolled fondant and whatever I could add to top off the cake. It seems one of my boys ate the entire bag of Swedish fish, or they would have been swimming in the frosting as well. I took a bit of creative license here as the pictures are on the “close-up” side as opposed to real macro shots.
Thank you for stopping by, I always appreciate your visit!
Have a great week ahead!
-Cindy

Great job on the cake!! Love the octopus. 🙂 Hopefully getting a new camera this week, so once I learn how, I’ll join the macro gang.
You are so creative! Love the cake! I rediscovered swedish fish a couple of years ago and kept a bag near me everywhere I was and before long they were completely attached to my hips! I’m afraid to even have one now, I know it’ll start the addiction all over!
